The Claudia Fund is a non-profit charitable organization established in 2002 in the memory of Claudia Ann Bergman to benefit brain cancer research.
Our primary goal is to raise funds which are donated to The Claudia Fund for Neuro-Oncology Research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Kimmel Cancer Center. Thanks to Dr Stuart Grossman & his staff at Johns Hopkins for their support.
Our annual fundraiser is "Claudia's Crab Fest & Reunion" held in August. A crowd of of over 800 attended this year's event The next event is scheduled for Sunday August 24, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm at the Margate Log Cabin located at Jerome & Marshall Avenues in Margate, NJ 08402.
Special thanks to all of the local businesses who donated prizes, took ads in our ad journal & our hard working committee; plus our friends & family members who help make this annual event a tremendous success.

$50,000 for cancer research
The Claudia Fund will be presenting a check in the amount of $50,000 to Dr. Stuart Grossman at The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center for his continuing efforts in brain cancer research. This was the result of proceeds from the 12th annual "Claudia's Crab Fest & Reunion" held on August 25, 2013 & donations of $3,138 from the Ventnor Pirates Football organization fundraiser "Playing for a Cure", & $3,346 from the "Our Children Making Change" organization. Claudia's two grand-daughters, ages 12 & 6 and several friends were part of this fundraising effort.
The Claudia Fund is proud to have donated a total of $613,000 in the past twelve years to The Claudia Fund for Neuro-Oncology Research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
